The Vaughan Welsh Tartan is a historical, family tartan, 
registered with The Scottish Register of Tartans. 
It is also a false tartan.  That does not mean that it is
historically inaccurate, or counterfeit, but that its 
horizontal thread count is different from its
vertical thread count.
