Threadcount and Construction
A true, reversing tartan, with an original threadcount by William Mortensen Vaughan (WMV). The first pivot is Olive 12 and the second is Yellow 4. Reading from the first pivot to the second and back, without repeating the first pivot, gives a full sett of 184 threads.
The 368 × 368-pixel BMP reconstruction uses two pixels per thread with the original 8 × 8-pixel Windows 3 Tweed mask. The GIF linked above is the user's specified existing wallpaper file; its actual pixel dimensions have not been independently inspected here.
